Special Cargo is a fast-growing family business with a heart for the company, our customers, and our team. Under the name Special Cargo Services, we manage the full logistics chain for hazardous materials—primarily at major logistics hubs like Schiphol Airport and the Europoort.
Our training and consulting division, Special Cargo College, plays a vital role in helping our clients train and advise professionals in hazardous materials, civil aviation security, and supply chain security. We have multiple locations in the Netherlands—including Schiphol, Europoort, and IJmuiden—and we’re expanding our international footprint with offices in Belgium and the US.

What will you be doing?
As a Designer/UX Specialist, you’ll be responsible for:
- Creating attractive, user-friendly designs for both our online and offline communication channels
- Contributing to the ongoing development of our visual identity and brand style
- Designing intuitive and appealing interfaces for our digital platforms
- Working closely with a professional marketing team to ensure a consistent and effective user experience across all touchpoints
What do you bring to the table?
- A completed MBO or HBO (Associate’s or Bachelor’s level) education in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, or User Experience Design
- Proven experience in graphic design and UX/UI design
- Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
- Affinity with and knowledge of online marketing
- Interest in logistics and hazardous materials is a plus
- Solid Dutch communication skills (written and spoken)
- A strong mix of creativity and precision
